Edible Austin Eat Drink Local Week benefits two great local food non-profits in Austin: Urban Roots and Sustainable Food Center. Now in its fifth year, Austin’s premier local food event receives over 2.8 million media impressions and runs eight days, December 3–10, 2011.

New this year:

• This year we are limiting the number of participating restaurants so you get the most exposure possible. 
• All participating restaurants must locally source at least one entree on their menu. 
• Entrees and sourcing information must be sent to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it by November 23. Restaurants will receive specially printed menus highlighting their EDLW featured entree for the week.  
• Each participating location must pay a minimum participation fee of $250 in advance to participate. Additional donations after EDLW will increase your chances of winning the free 1/4 page in Edible Austin.

What are the benefits for your restaurant?

• Media opportunities.
• Name inclusion on EDLW promotional materials, stickers and collateral materials designating you as a participant. 
• Listing on edibleaustin.com with a link to your website, as well as listed in the thank-you Notable Mention in Edible Austin magazine; increased traffic to your restaurant (there will be multiple e-mail blasts and media ads starting now and leading up to the event).
• Invitation to private chef’s reception at Hotel San Jose November 28.
• Supporting the local economy and two local non-profits. 
• Restaurant that raises the most will get a free ¼ page ad in Edible Austin. 
• Sign up by September 24 to be included in the EDLW full page ad in Edible Austin COOKS! issue. Winter issue ad inclusion deadline is November 8.
