NUOVO VINO FESTIVAL (NEW WINE) IN FLORENCE
This is an historic preview tasting of the first wines ever produced in Williamson County, from the first harvest of grapes grown at The Vineyard at Florence. Four wines were made this year by winemaker Dan Gatlin of Inwood Estates Vineyards. Because of their high quality despite their young age, Gatlin decided to offer a “Nuovo” version of two of the wines: a dark, shiraz-style red and a floral, creamy chardonnay-style white. Only ten cases of each wine will be offered in this one-time "Nuovo" version. This first annual tasting event will take place on Sunday, December 6, in the Inwood Estates Tasting Room at The Vineyard at Florence.
