Chèvre-Pecan Tempters

Ingredients

1 lb. Texas chèvre
1 T. pasilla chili powder
2 T. agave nectar
Salt and pepper
½ lb. Texas pecans, toasted and finely chopped
½ c. Texas herbs (chives, Mexican mint marigold, parsley, mint)

Methods/steps

Combine chèvre, chili powder, agave, salt and pepper. In another bowl, mix pecans and herbs, with more salt and pepper. Roll chèvre into balls and roll balls in pecan mix to coat. Serve at room temperature.
