 Redbud Cafe Cask Party

The brewing team from Blanco’s own Real Ale Brewing Company will tap their cask conditioned Lost Gold IPA for Redbud Café's Cask Party. By definition, real ale is any ale served without extraneous CO2 and naturally carbonated within the serving vessel – in this case, the cask. Because of this, cask conditioned beers demand that the cask be emptied once it has been tapped, in order to maintain the natural carbonation of the brew. Friday’s Special Cask brew, Lost Gold IPA: $4.50/pint In addition to the cask on Friday night, Redbud Cafe proudly serves 8 Real Ale beers on tap. Seasonals currently on tap at Redbud Cafe : Devil’s Backbone, Hans Pils, Lost Gold IPA, Oktoberfest Always available: Fireman’s 4, Full Moon Rye Pale Ale, ESB, Brewhouse Brown Music at the Café on Friday, Sept 10 : Gerry Burns 6:30pm- 9:00pm As always, Redbud Cafe’s Evening Specials are served every Friday and Saturday, from 5:00pm to 9:00 pm About Redbud Café: At Redbud Café, our food is made fresh daily using premium products, local and organic whenever possible. We also use filtered water in everything we make. Owl Tree Coffee, of Austin, supplies the café’s own Redbud Blend and several of their other popular roasts. Redbud Cafe’s pub proudly serves one of the most complete collections of Blanco’s Real Ale Brewing Company’s beers on tap and a handpicked wine selection featuring many Texas wines. Potters by trade, Redbud Café owners, Jon and Jan Brieger, have been selling their work at Brieger Pottery in Blanco, Texas, for over 18 years. Both the pottery shop and Redbud Cafe are located in the building that originally housed the hardware store on Blanco’s town square. The cafe now opens onto the pottery shop – right next door.
