Author of Stuffed and Starved and current New York Times bestseller, The Value of Nothing, Raj Patel is currently embarked on a new multimedia project called Generation Food with documentary-making legend and award-winning director, Steve James, of Hoop Dreams and The Interrupters. Through a documentary film, a book and lectures, Generation Food will show how ordinary women and men around the world are overcoming obstacles and "setting the table" for themselves, their communities and generations to come—giving us better, SMARTER ways of growing food and feeding the world, now.
