Chef Jack Gilmore Bio: Jack Gilmore's bold, flavorful style hails from his experience across the Gulf Region of the South, his upbringing in the Rio Grande Valley, and extensive work with Master German Chef's - but his legendary hospitality is one hundred percent Texan! Known for his use of local ingredients at this latest venture Jack Allen's Kitchen, Chef Gilmore is a regular at the Farmers Market's in and around Austin. Jack Allen's Kitchen has become a favorite in the community, with food events being held there on a regular basis. Jack also tirelessly supports several non-profit events in Austin throughout the year and recently won the Carlyn Nelson Award in 2010 for his dedicated support of the Lone Star Paralysis Foundation. Tanji Patton Bio: Tanji Patton is an Emmy Award Winning Journalist with a passion for Texas and a love for food and wine. Tanji's covered local and national events as a reporter, gaining her local and national recognition for her investigative reporting/journalism and has helped to change Texas State Laws. In addition, Tanji hosted a local lifestyle show and co-hosted Live with Regis. Now with Goodtaste with Tanji, she is a culinary sherpa, interviewing chef's, winemakers and culinary newsmakers! Tanji brings her love of food and wine to Goodtaste with Tanji, so join her in the journey to discover the wonders of the culinary world! |
