Besides being a dual food source, chickens also provide some mighty fine fertilizer, impressive bug control and plenty of entertainment.

This year, the core tour organizers have grown from four to five, and a number of sponsors have come on board—among them Mobile Chicken Coops, Buck Moore Feed and Pet Supply, Coyote Creek Farm, Callahan’s General Store and Comanche Feather Farms, creator of the Chicken Coop Mobile Stagecoach.

There is no cost to attend this educational and fun opportunity.
