Remove skin from chicken pieces, wash and dry.
Melt butter with garlic, salt and pepper. Mix potato chips and corn flakes in pie plate. Dip pieces of chicken in butter mixture, then in crumbs to coat.
Arrange in large shallow baking pan. Remove garlic, pour remaining butter mixture over chicken.
Bake in pre-heated 350° oven for 1 hour. Note: cover for 30 minutes, then uncover for remaining 30 mintues.
