In a large bowl, combine the beef, ginger, garlic, miso, hemp seeds, egg and toasted sesame oil. Mix with your hands to thoroughly combine.
Heat a small amount of cooking oil in a skillet to medium high and fry a small amount of the mixture. Taste for seasoning and add salt and pepper, if necessary.
Scoop tablespoon-size portions of the meat mixture and form into meatballs. Heat more of the cooking oil in the skillet and fry the meatballs in batches until cooked through. Remove to a plate and set aside.
In the same skillet, heat more oil if needed and sauté the greens until wilted. Return the meatballs to the pan and heat all together briefly. Serve with steamed rice or warm flatbread.
