Recipe

  • Fresh spearmint leaves, without stems, torn in half
  • teaspoons Granulated or turbinado sugar
  • 2 ounces Fresh lime juice, preferable from Mexican (key) limes
  • Crushed Ice
  • 2 ounces White rum
  • Splash of sparkling water
  • Fresh mint sprig and lime wedge, and/or sugarcane stir-stick for garnish

Mojito Directions

  1. In a tall, sturdy glass, gently bruise the mint with the sugar using a muddler.
  2. Mix in the lime juice and fill the glass with crushed ice.
  3. Pour in the rum and stir in a splash of sparkling water. Garnish and serve.
