Grab a shamrock and celebrate St. Patrick's Day the Antonelli's Cheese Shop way! This evening we will feature cheeses all washed in alcohol as they age. From beer to wine to cider and more, cheeses that are washed in an alcohol as they age develop special nuances and flavors; sometimes these cheeses are pungent, while other times you get the faint note of grapes (or in one case, a grape jolly rancher!). We will guide you through 7 cheeses (both pasteurized and unpasteurized) with booze-y rinds, accompanied by olives, nuts, and Easy Tiger bread. We'll also bring out a number of additional pairings like chutneys and charcuterie bites, depending on that evening's cheese selection. Note: Doors open at 6:15pm and the event starts at 6:30pm. You may choose to arrive early and separately purchase our wine or beer pairings from the Cheese Shop prior to the class the day of the event. Should you choose to bring your own wine or beer, there is a $4 set-up fee. As the tasting wraps up around 8:00pm, we'll give you and your guests time to mingle and enjoy the Cheese House, while we cut-to-order any cheese from the class that you'd like to purchase so you can re-create the tasting at home.
