This class will delve into the topic of how to modify the amount and types of flours, fats and sugars that are used in baking in order to produce healthier yet still tasty results. Students will be making a cake and a cookie recipe in class and will be taking home their finished treats. We will also be discussing how to adjust recipes with substituted ingredients and techniques to produce a more guilt-free finished product.
