Feb. 24, 2018

Colleen Dieter, owner of Red Wheelbarrow, presents “Tool Workshop.” Even though we often enjoy getting our hands dirty in the garden, we will inevitably benefit from using the proper implements of the trade. However, there are so many different weeders, for example, how do we know which one is the best for us? Come find out from a professional gardener how to select the right garden tool for the job. We’ll learn about the proper use and maintenance of our tools, and we’ll see examples of some unusual tools. Everyone is welcome to bring a tool or two from home for some hands-on help. Whether you're a novice or a master, join us for this informative and interactive talk that will make gardening safer, easier, and more fun. Save your tools and save your back! Colleen Dieter founded Red Wheelbarrow in 2003 and provides pro gardening advice for do it yourselfers. Colleen will show us what we need to do to keep our great Texas native landscapes looking their best.
