Kids, it's time to put those art skills to the test to win some chocolate! We at Delysia Chocolatier will host our annual complimentary Easter egg decorating competition from 12 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 25th. Kids from all over Central Texas are invited to come to our Culinary Center, pick up a white chocolate Easter egg, and decorate it any way they see fit with edible ink markers. The eggs will be photographed and posted on the Delysia Chocolatier Facebook page, where they'll be voted on by the community and our followers. The children whose eggs receive the most likes and shares by Friday, March 30th will a large golden egg filled with our chocolate treats.

Our "Cheese 101" classes are an intimate way to get to know the "7 Styles of Cheese." We guide you through each style of cheese and taste specific examples (both pasteurized and unpasteurized), accompanied by olives, nuts, and Easy Tiger bread. We'll also bring out a number of additional pairings like chutneys and charcuterie bites, depending on that evening's cheese selection. Note: Doors open at 6:15pm and the event starts at 6:30pm. You may choose to arrive early and separately purchase our wine or beer pairings from the Cheese Shop prior to the class the day of the event. Should you choose to bring your own wine or beer, there is a $4 set-up fee. As the tasting wraps up around 8:00pm, we'll give you and your guests time to mingle and enjoy the Cheese House, while we cut-to-order any cheese from the class that you'd like to purchase so you can re-create the tasting at home. Personal delivery of cheese directly to your chair. Does it get any better than that?

Jenna and her goats have invited us out for a wonderful spread of cheese, sundry pairings, charcuterie bites and fun with the goats on March 31st. You can either meet us at the farm or join us on the caravan from the cheese house. We'll be leaving the house at 10:30am so please arrive by then if you'd like to follow along (or meet us at the farm at 11am). The event will start on the farm at 11:00am and last until 12:30pm. From there, we'll have about 30 minutes to play with the goats and check out her beautiful farm.
