Lauren Hubele founded Bona Dea Bread to extend the fruits of her bread-making skills and passion beyond her home and family. She makes sourdough (from an authentic German sourdough “mother,” or starter) and regional European whole grain breads and delivers them to neighborhood pick-up locations in Clarksville, and North Central, East and South Austin. Freshly-baked challah is also available on Fridays. Our current favorite is rye with fennel and anise, but selections vary weekly.
