Seafood Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • 8 fresh Thai chilies, minced
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1/2 cup(s) lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons honey

Seafood Dipping Sauce Directions

  1. Using a mortar and pestle, crush the chilies and garlic into a coarse paste.
  2. Add the fish sauce, lime juice, sugar and honey.
  3. Alternatively, you could put all of the ingredients into a food processor or blender and blend for about 10 seconds.
  4. Will last in the refrigerator for about a week.

Recipe notes

Chef Sanitchat uses this condiment mainly as a dipping sauce for seafood of all kinds, but she also uses it as a dressing for a grilled beef salad.
