Lucinda's Garden Pesto


For 1 Batch(es)


  • 3 cups fresh basil leaves (tightly packed), gently rinsed and dried
  • 4 (or more) garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cups pine nuts (or walnuts or pecans)
  • 2/3 freshly grated Parmesan
  • 2 tablespoons (or more) freshly grated Romano cheese
  • 3/4 cups olive oil

Lucinda's Garden Pesto Directions

  1. In a food processor, grind the basil and garlic. Add nuts and cheeses, then while blending, slowly add the olive oil. Blend to the desired consistency, adding more olive oil if necessary. Spoon into small jars and seal with melted butter.
