Agua de Jamaica

  • 3/4 cups dried Jamaica flowers (hibiscus flowers)
  • 2 quart(s) water, divided
  • Simple syrup, to taste

Agua de Jamaica Directions

  1. Place the hibiscus flowers in a medium-size pan, cover with 1 quart of water and bring to a boil.
  2. Cook for 10 minutes, then remove from the heat and let cool.
  3. Strain the liquid into a pitcher and add the other quart of water and simple syrup, to taste.
