Sandalwood is used as an antidepressant or sedative, to balance the nervous system and calm the adrenal system. Also good for insomnia, nervous tension and stress related conditions and complaints.
Palmarosa is known as a tonic for the nervous system and exhaustion, as well as an aid for digestion.

Sweet Orange is an antidepressant/sedative and helps with nervous tension. It’s also used as a stimulant for clogged digestive and lymphatic systems.

Sea Salt Recipe for Relaxation


For 1 Batch(es)


  • 8 drops sandalwood essential oil (preferably Australian)
  • 5 drops palmarosa essential oil
  • 5 drops sweet orange essential oil
  • 2 ounces carrier oil (grapeseed, apricot kernel, jojoba, hazelnut, safflower or sunflower)

Sea Salt Recipe for Relaxation Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients then blend with 2 cups fine or course sea salt. Use as a body scrub or soak in a warm tub (consider Bolivian Rose, fine grind, if using as a scrub, or a New Zealand coarse grind, if using as a soak in a bath).
